Health Services Research

CIBMTR conducts Health Services Research, which complements activities of the Health Services and International Studies Working Committee, and conducts health services and policy research that requires different resources than CIBMTR working committee studies.

Examples of health services research focus areas include:

  • Economic aspects of transplant
  • Survivorship and quality of life among transplant recipients
  • Teatment decision-making support for patients and health professionals
  • Healthcare disparities in access to and outcomes of hematopoietic cell transplantation
